World-renowned photographer Spencer Tunick will lecture and show a video presentation of his work at the Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta, 1600 Peachtree St., Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m., in The Hub.

Tunick is best known for photographs that feature large numbers of nude people posed in artistic formations. Since 1992, he has organized and photographed more than 65 site-specific installations, often gathering thousands of participants.

He has worked in cities all over the world, including Bruges, Belgium; Buenos Aires, Argentina; London and Newcastle/Gateshead, England; Lyon, France; Melbourne, Australia; Montreal, Canada; San Sebastián, Spain; São Paulo, Brazil; Caracas, Venezeula; Vienna, Austria; and Düsseldorf, Germany.

In June 2003, he completed his largest installation, featuring 7,000 participants, in Barcelona, Spain. The following year, he posed his largest shoot in North America, gathering 2,754 people in Cleveland.

In his work, Tunick calls into question the relationship between art and urban space by presenting human bodies arranged sculpturally in a public setting. He challenges views on privacy and nudity, confronting the social and political issues surrounding art in the public sphere.

Teigen is media relations manager for SCAD-Atlanta.
