Comic artist discusses work with students
Photo by Ben Dashwood Published: Friday, February 29, 2008 Comic artist Eric Canete (seated, right) conducts portfolio reviews of work by SCAD-Atlanta students during the Atlanta Art Forum Feb. 22. The event was hosted by the SCAD sequential art and illustration departments and featured four artists, including Canete, whose work includes “Mr. Majestic,” “Ladytron,” “Deathlock” and “Iron Man: Enter the Mandarin.” He also has worked as an animator on such films as “Aeon Flux,” “Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury” and “Legion of Superheroes.” The other artists who participated in the Atlanta Art Forum were Andrew Robinson, James Jean and Yuko Shimuzu. In addition to portfolio reviews, the artists participated in a roundtable discussion and conducted workshops |
