Students from five majors team up for event
(From left) Savannah College of Art and Design architecture student Sonia Carias, fashion student Victoria Mier, fashion professor Doris Treptow, furniture design student Ezra Taxel and interior design student Catherine Cranford Elliott participate in a multidisciplinary charrette April 8 at Eichberg Hall. Ten students each from interior design, architecture, graphic design, furniture design and fashion teamed up into 10 groups for the two-day charrette. Tom McHugh, AIA, from Madison, Wis., initiated the concept for the charrette and spoke to the participants April 7.
