Noted artist speaks to students

Painter and installation artist Deborah Wasserman speaks to Savannah College of Art and Design students April 7 in Alexander Hall. Her lecture, titled “(In) Transit,” was sponsored by the painting department.

Wasserman, who lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts and the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program.

Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in the United States, Brazil, the Netherlands, Germany and Israel.
