New site highlights information technology
The SCAD information management and technology department has revamped its Web site. The new site, which went live during winter break, can be accessed at http://helpdesk.scad.edu or through MySCAD, http://myscad.scad.edu, under the College Services channel through the information management and technology Help Desk link.
The site provides information from the seven department divisions -- administrative; computer services and the help desk; digital media services; film, television and sound resources; information services; institutional research; and network services. In addition, it offers details about topics including department-related news and events, help desk support, frequently asked questions, forms, network outages and alerts, scheduled maintenance, facilities and labs, the Profiles Book, assessment forms and more.
The department strived to create a fresh, new look coupled with essential information to make the site a vital daily resource for SCAD students, faculty and staff.
