What started out as an internship for sound design senior Justin Cruse at Phil Hadaway’s Reeltime Audio in Savannah has matured into a solid part-time position, giving the SCAD undergraduate opportunities to work with the likes of Ben Affleck, Tom Berenger, Jake Busey and Diana Scarwid.

“The internship was basically my application,” said Cruse. “I knew I was officially working with Reeltime Audio the day I came in the studio and Phil came up to me and said ‘Hey man, I just got a new phone setup. It wanted three voice mailboxes so I put you down for No. 3.’ For the first time I had an actual work number that didn’t involve calling a restaurant hostess desk before connecting to me.”
