Savannah College of Art and Design fashion undergraduate student Githa Dunker shows her design to fashion designer Eric Gaskins at Henry Hall Nov. 20. Gaskins trained under Hubert Givenchy in Paris and launched his own label, based in New York, in 1987. His clothes have been featured on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and Vanity Fair. Gaskins visited SCAD to critique an eveningwear class, deliver a presentation about his work and offer tips on how to prepare a portfolio. |
