CAT announces Wal-Mart routes Chatham Area Transit Authority officials announce temporary route changes to service the new Wal-Mart Super Center on Montgomery Cross Road. The No. 6 Crosstown, No. 11 Candler and No. 31 Georgia Regional routes now travel down Varnedoe to the traffic light and stop on the south side of Montgomery Cross Road in front of Wal-Mart. The No. 20 Montgomery inbound from Ferguson Avenue and Skidaway Road turns left onto Montgomery Cross Road and stops across from Wal-Mart. Effective in September, these routes will enter the Wal-Mart complex, and the temporary stops will be eliminated.
